The first
time i met my Uncle Fred (actually my "great"
uncle), I was about 10 years old and was going
door to door selling "Grit" newspaper
subscriptions - when he opened the door I
started my speal "Hi, My name is Billy Saxon..."
and he said "Stop - is your dad Bill Saxon?" - I
said "Yes Sir" - He said "and your mom is
Brenda?" - "Yes, Sir" - He said "I am your Uncle
Fred, your grandfathers brother...Come on in" I
remember being too scared to go in...Wish I had,
because now that I am an "old" man (39 yrs old!)
I'd like to have more of these memories.
God Bless You All - As the Bible says in 2 Cor
5:1 - "For we know that if our earthly house of
[this] tabernacle were dissolved, we have a
building of God, an house not made with hands,
eternal in the heavens." and that Uncle Fred
being absent from the body, is present with our
Lord Jesus Christ, and that we shall all be
together again with no less days on that great
and glorious shore
